As the halfway mark of 2022 draws near, we reflect on the exciting past several months at Element Risk that have seen a tremendous amount of growth and change.
As Element Risk has grown, we have always kept the focus on maintaining the feeling of being “small”. Being small to us does not mean being stagnant, insignificant, or dormant. Small means maintaining that local agency feel which has been a foundational value at Element Risk since our agency began. We pride ourselves on welcoming the community through our front doors, having a person answer the phone rather than an automated system, and continuing to support the local little league teams and organizations that are close to the hearts of our team members. We value our offices having a local community feel, and we are committed to ensuring that priority remains for our growing agency.
While staying small, we have also provided our locations with the latest tools, technology, and processes to do their jobs and assist our customers more effectively. We pride ourselves on being on the leading edge of technology and efficiency. This balance has not always been easy, but we feel it’s ever important in a world that’s shifting away from that personal connection. For us, it’s not either/or situation – it’s both/and – and we want to meet you where you are at, whether at the kitchen table over coffee or late night via online chat.
We are deliberate in our efforts to grow with agencies and team members that also hold these values. Over the past several months, we have acquired four new agencies and, through these acquisitions, we have added 17 new team members and two new locations. Stoneburner-Carter Insurance, W.S. Hoffman Insurance, L&B Insurance and Financial Services, and Ross Insurance have all joined the Element Risk team and we are excited to bring their experience, expertise, and commitment to serving their clients.
Stoneburner-Carter Insurance, located in Front Royal, VA, was established in 1985 and is a three-generation family firm. They have served their clients well by putting them first and delivering first-rate customer service. For over 35 years, they have taken pride in knowing that the insurance they offer is the best for their clients’ families and businesses. We are excited to welcome Tony Carter and his team.
W.S. Hoffman Insurance, located in Phoenixville, PA, has been serving the five-county area surrounding Phoenixville for over 25 years. The agency has been run for 25 years by Donald Diianni, who has taken pride in helping every customer find the coverage they need and matching them with the right policy. We welcome Don and his team to Element Risk.
L&B Insurance and Financial Services, located in Collegeville, PA, was established by Jerry Lynam in 1994. Jerry has been a licensed producer since 1982 and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his clients in the Collegeville and surrounding areas. His agency has focused on all lines of insurance. We are excited that Jerry will now operate as part of the Element Risk team.
Ross Insurance, located in Lancaster, PA, was founded in 1960 by Bill Ross Sr. and Sondra Ross. Bill and Sondra built the business from the ground up and worked tirelessly to build a foundation of integrity and strong relationships with both clients and top-rated insurance carriers. Brothers Rick Ross and Bill Ross Jr. then worked closely together growing the agency over the past 30 years to serve over 7,000 clients in both Lancaster County and across the country. Since Rick’s retirement in 2018, Bill continued to manage the agency and expand upon the founding principles of unwavering integrity and doing what is in the clients’ best interests. Bill and his team are be a wonderful addition to Element Risk.
We are excited to have these teams join us at Element as we continue building upon our traditions together. We are confident that we will continue to serve our clients in the best ways possible, maintain a presence and involvement in our communities, and expand our offerings to assist in all areas of personal and business insurance. We can guarantee that no matter how much Element Risk grows, we will continue to uphold the “small” values that we were founded upon.
